The Garcia Companies is pleased to announce two recent executive level promotions. Kelly L. Benigno was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Brittany M. Jeffries was promoted to Vice President. Both women have been employed with The Garcia Companies for seven years and have been integral to Garcia’s sustained growth.
“Kelly and Brittany have been involved in a number of major projects and startups from inception to operation," said Andrea Kilmer, President and CEO of The Garcia Companies. "They each bring a unique, extensive skill set to the table that complements our team and helps us achieve and exceed our goals. As part of our long-term succession plan, we are excited to promote Kelly and Brittany to the executive positions of CFO and VP respectively.”
Kelly is responsible for financial and operational planning, analysis, and modeling as well as income tax compliance for all Garcia-related companies. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Administration & Master of Science in Accounting from James Madison University.
Brittany manages various areas of all Garcia businesses including project management, marketing strategies, business development, compliance, and human resource management. She holds a Master of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University.
