Garcia Family Farm is a 15,000-acre property located in south central Florida, Hendry County. One of the premiere locations for South Florida’s top growers of fresh produce, the farm operates orange groves and leases land for row crops that produce products marketed across the United States. The farm also manages above ground water storage and water filtration projects and a sand mining facility on site. Additional partnerships with the University of Florida and the State of Florida focus on preventing citrus greening and exploring industrial hemp products while other innovative agricultural programs are on the horizon.

Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service, Inc (VBLS) is the largest and oldest beach lifesaving service in the Commonwealth of Virginia. VBLS and its predecessors has been providing lifeguard services at the Virginia Beach oceanfront for 90 Years!

In 1987, VBLS, Inc. was officially formed in a partnership between Kent Hinnant (Ocean Rescue Service, Inc.) and Eddie Garcia (Virginia Beach Patrol, Inc.). The organization took over lifeguard services for all of the Resort Beach and Croatan. In 1990, Eddie passed his shares to his daughter Angela Garcia-Mozer, who at the time was the General manager for Ocean Breeze Waterpark employing approximately 75 lifeguards seasonally. In January 2020, the Hinnant family sold their shares of VBLS to Russell Lyons, a local leader in the hospitality industry.

Since the partnership was entered into and still today, VBLS utilizes the resources and support of The Garcia Companies to assist with financing, human resources and payroll.
